Ways to facilitate co-operation
Please be active
Since we are dependent on your instructions, we would like to involve you in the decisionmaking process
as closely as possible. Please bring all your documents to our very
first meeting and provide us subsequently as soon as possible with all documentation and information
coming to your possession and/or knowledge thereafter. Albeit court orders, judgments, fines etc., we kindly
advise you to provide us with the original documents in due course.
Please ask
The language of a lawyer is
inappropriate if the client does not understand it. Please do not hesitate to
raise questions if anything remains unclear. You, as the client, are entitled to
obtain full and comprehensive information. Needless to say, you will receive
copies of all correspondence in relation to your matter.
If possible, please write
If possible,
please communicate in written form, either per fax or per e-mail.
If you prefer to transmit short notices and information by telephone, we kindly
ask you to consider the following: our assistants are equal members of our
active team. Please share as much information as possible with them and you can
be assured that this information will be forwarded to your attorney without
delay. Should your attorney not be immediately available, please leave your contact
details with our other staff members and your call will be returned within 24
hours.
Please see us as a team
Please appreciate that our attorneys cannot always be telephonically available, since they frequently appear in court, prepare urgent legal documents or consult with clients.
Cases are ideally assigned to the various attorneys according to their specialisation, experience and availability. Upon acceptance
of a mandate, an attorney in charge and a representative are designated. This system ensures that a attorney, who is familiar with your case,
is always at your disposal.
